What transformation means
To be transformed into Christ is to be formed by the Spirit into the likeness of Jesus. This transformation begins with what Christ has already accomplished for us and continues as we participate in His life.
Christ’s humanity on our behalf
Jesus did not merely show us what faithful human life looks like. In His humanity, He lived the obedience, trust and communion with the Father that we could never achieve for ourselves.
Everything we could never faithfully accomplish for ourselves, He has accomplished for us.
